Capgemini, a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, has combined forces with Palantir Technologies, a provider of data integration, analysis and data protection, to bring an user friendly data analysis platform to public sector organisations.
Capgemini said that the two companies will develop applications in the areas of public security, defence, intelligence and fraud detection at its Centre of Excellence in the Netherlands.
Both companies are working together to deliver a pilot which intends to help the UK Border Agency to better manage and analyse.
Palantir Technologies founder and CEO Alexander Karp said together they will offer a productised solution that will significantly enhance performance in terms of people, process, technology, organisation, and intelligence – gathering, sharing and using – while maintaining compliance with data protection laws.
