Buffalo Technology, the global manufacturer of networking and storage products, has launched the TeraStation 3400 (TS3400), a Network Attached Storage (NAS) and iSCSI solution aimed at home and small business users.
The latest offering has a capacity of up to 16TB, 1GB of DDR RAM and the latest Marvell ARMADA MV78230 Dual-Core CPU processor.
Available in both rackmount and desktop formats, the TS3400 is said to feature a quick and reliable user interface, Active Directory support, Hot Swap HDD’s, IP camera recording capabilities and two super speed USB 3.0 ports.
Business and user data is protected with RAID, and hot swap functionality allows users to change disks without downtime, now a regular feature in the TeraStation products. The TS3400 also comes with 10 free NovaStor NovaBACKUP® licenses.
Available from £499.99 (excluding VAT), the TS3400 is claimed to be competitive on both cost and quality.
