Parallels has announced that BTR Associates has selected its Virtuozzo Containers to deploy and manage its hosted virtual desktop offerings. Parallels claims that its virtualisation technology helps hosting and cloud services providers increase their IT infrastructure utilisation by enabling many end-user desktops on a single-server and by improving the manageability and time-to-market.
The company said that leveraging Parallels Containers, BTR Associates delivers SMBs server environment to run and access Microsoft Dynamics applications.
Parallels Virtuozzo Containers is an OS-level server virtualisation product. It creates isolated virtual environments (containers) on a single server and OS instance to leverage and utilise hardware, software and management efforts.
