Twinfield has partnered with Netherlands and London-based Basecone, a provider of online document processing, to enable its customers to deliver electronic documents simply, efficiently and securely.
Using Basecone’s web application, Twinfield users can upload, exchange and store digital receipts, invoices, contracts and rental agreements, in real-time whilst offering a complete overview of all documents.
Additionally, individuals can make use of Basecone’s iPhone and Android app to create a picture of receipts and invoices which can then be sent directly from their smartphone via Basecone to their accountant, who in turn can process and store them within the Twinfield bookkeeping solution.
Vincent van Renesse van Duivenbode, co-founder of Basecone and certified public accountant commented, "We founded Basecone around two years ago through the drive to make a good performing product; at the time there wasn’t a really good solution for processing documents in an electronic or digital way on the market.
"We wanted to create a platform to allow users to share documents efficiently, securely and affordably between departments and to also allow individuals to process such documents in a financial system. The security of our application is paramount and we invest a lot of time and energy into ensuring security is ahead of the field."
He concludes, "So far our relationship with Twinfield has been brilliant. We’re very much on the same page. Twinfield has the basis of an excellent and reliable accounting system, which is why we chose to partner with them."
Barbara Kroll, managing director, Twinfield UK said: "We’re always looking for ways of enhancing the service we offer to our clients through value-added partnership and applications.
"Our partnership with Basecone is one example of how accounting processes are increasingly becoming automated and real-time collaborative, changing the way that business owners and accountants work together. We believe that in the near future, simple bookkeeping tasks will barely exist as systems and data become seamlessly connected."
