Mobile software developer Avanquest Mobile Technologies has released a new application,myCloud Companion for online storage, backup, and access.
myCloud Companion will enable users to synchronise and back up data to their own private cloud storage site as well as share and stream files of all types and sizes including music, pictures and video.
The new application provides four-screen access across multiple platforms, including computers running the Windows and Macintosh operating systems, smartphones and tablets running iOS, Android and Blackberry, and even plug-ins for Internet-connected TVs.
Avanquest’s new application features include: one way and multi-directional synchronisation, multi-folder synchronisation and drag-and-drop file copying with desktop file explorer.
With the new product, files can be accessed and backed up from any internet-connected device, multimedia files can be played on any Internet-connected device, large files can be streamed directly to a smart TV, PC, smartphone, or tablet and files of any size can be shared with friends, family, and colleagues.
Using the set of APIs and web interfaces, myCloud Companion can be integrated into partners’ applications.
