arcplan, a provider of business intelligence (BI) offerings, said that it has incorporated into its Enterprise offering a newly-developed Connector for use with the integrated planning (IP) functionality of the SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP NetWeaver BW) component.
The company claims that the Connector complements, extends and provides new business intelligence functionality for companies using the IP capabilities of SAP NetWeaver BW. It extends the IP functionality of SAP NetWeaver BW with presentation options in Enterprise Designer.
Arcplan said that the Connector uses existing SAP infrastructure and enables entered planning data to be written directly into the real-time InfoCubes in SAP NetWeaver BW. No additional data layer is required and all information is available in real time in the central data warehouse.
