Hitachi has jumped heavily into the analytics field.
The firm unveiled Live Insight for IT Operations, Clinical Repository for connected health and Live Insight Center of Excellence, all branded Hitachi and suitably launched Hitachi Connect in Las Vegas.
Live Insight for IT Operations is a cloud-based machine-to-machine analytics solution which allows users to analyse all machine data in their data centres to analyse the root cause of an outage. This aims to help customers achieve better performance and availability from IT infrastructure and gain operational intelligence with a low cost of ownership. It also carries a analytics accelerator service, using a five-step approach including data acquisition, mapping and interpretation, predictive modelling, and data processing and retrieval tools.
Clinical Repository (HCR) for Connected Health is an enhanced release of HCR which provides secure mobile access to support connected health. Healthcare professionals gain access to data analytics tools and delivery methods. Built on Hitachi Content Platform technology, the data repository allows clinical and non-clinical data to be stored, backed up, preserved and retrieved on a single integrated platform.
Live Insight Center of Excellence targets big data strategists for those drawing analytics roadmaps. Workshops explore opportunities and clarify business impacts.
Branded as the Social Innovation strategy the firm said it was in part built on strategic acquisitions over the past year, including Avrio, oXya, Pantascene and Pentaho.
