3PAR has launched its first sales office in Korea as part of its expansion within the Asia-Pacific region. The company has named Sung-Soon Lee as country manage and plans to offer InServ storage server family of virtualised storage arrays to enterprises, service providers and other organisations building virtual and cloud computing datacentres.
Lee has 20yrs of experience in strategic management of direct and channel businesses in key markets and accounts in Korea. His experience includes management positions at Dell, Oracle, Sybase, Avaya, and Informix in Korea.
Lee, said: When it comes to delivering storage virtualisation for enhanced agility and efficiency, 3PAR brings years of leadership, making it a perfect fit for Korean customers looking for high-end utility storage with great TCO.
