ZTE unveils four new devices at CES

Products include data cards, modems, mobile hotspots and tablets

ZTE, a provider of telecommunications equipment and network offerings, has unveiled next-gen data cards, modems, mobile hotspots and tablets at the International CES.

The new devices portfolio includes the LTE-enabled AL621 and MF820 USB modems, with bandwidths of up to 20MHz, which are capable of download/upload speeds up to 100/50Mbps, respectively, with the MF820 also touting HSPA+ 42/11 Mbps downlink/uplink rates.

Both the AL621 AND MF820USB modems provide functionality with the latest Windows operating systems.

The MF91 Mobile Hotspot is equipped for both LTE 100/50Mbps and HSPA+ 42/11 Mbps downlink/uplink rates, and can join up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

The new MF29L modem, which is designed to provide flexibility by supporting the LTE and HSPA+ speeds, is a customisable GUI, compatible with both Windows and Mac Oss and built-in fax capability.

The company said that its portfolio includes devices that span the 3G to 4G spectrum including EVDO/UMTS, LTEFDD/LTETDD Dual Mode, LTE/UMTS MultiMode and LTE/EVDO MultiMode technology compatible devices.

ZTE USA president Cheng Lixin said the company is delivering proven devices and form factors ready to flawlessly support consumers today.

"ZTE has launched LTE devices with Hong Kong’s first and largest mobile communications operator, CSL and is ahead of other vendors as our dedication and sizeable investment in LTE technologies has paid off in the devices shown here today," Lixin said.
