Twitter rolls out new search results interface

A new search results page will start with a selection of top tweets.

Twitter has rolled out a new search results interface with a revised design to all logged-in users on its site.

Users can now filter results to show top tweets, live tweets, accounts, news, photos, videos, and several others.

Searching Twitter through the web will allown users to have a new search results page starting with a selection of top tweets.

A notable tweet will be displayed near the top of the page when users search for a keyword or phrase on site.

The advanced search option lets users to filter tweets by location and date range. It provides an improved ability for marketers while searching for their products, services and business.

A Twitter spokesperson said: "We’re rolling out a new search experience to users on web. Like other features, we will continue to iterate and improve on this, to make it even easier for users to find what they are looking for when they search on Twitter."

Twitter has recently rolled out a new feature, Highlights, to help users find the best tweets on a particular day.
