Mr Marangella has been the chief development officer for Loral/Qualcomm’s Globalstar, Lockheed-Martin’s Satphone, and EADS’s EAST. As founding development director for wireless solutions at NEC Technologies, Mr Marangella pioneered the technology integration of the computer laptop and cell-phone that led to the first operational PCMCIA card and the emergence of wireless laptop communication.
