TelcoBridges has expanded its partnership with Interact to integrate the new versions of TelcoBridges’ Tdev platforms with Interact’s enhanced SPOT Voice XML/CCXML-based interpreter set, Version 6.12.

The partners said that the combination of these offerings enables service providers to develop VXML-CCXML-based IVR services, and deploy them across wireless, VoIP and TDM call channels.

Reportedly, by working together on ongoing compatibility, the two companies enable application developers and service providers to build telecommunications offerings that support the applications and services, and can scale to accommodate any sized network.

Interact said that its SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML-based interpreter set provides the speech synthesis and speech recognition capabilities that are needed to connect calls for automated telephony applications, such as: voice dialling, national directory assistance, wake-up calls, flight tracking, or any other form of IVR application.

TelcoBridges said that its Tdev Development Platforms provide the media to handle functionality required to connect calls crossing wireless, TDM and IP voice networks. These development platforms also feature the tools that help developers to develop applications, such as unified communications, ring-back tones, background music injection, and prepaid/postpaid services.

Danny P. Blouin, VP of marketing at TelcoBridges, said: “Interact is a clear leader in VoiceXML solutions, and our partnership enables our customers to build innovative IVR applications in VXML/CCXML, that can scale to accommodate any network or subscriber base – ranging from local service providers to the largest operators in the world.”
