Sybase 365, a mobile messaging and mobile commerce services company, has launched IPX 365, a suite of IP eXchange (IPX) services that is designed to serve both the fixed and mobile network operator communities with service and security required in the conversion to IP networks.
The company claims that the combined strength of Sybase 365 and partners will enable the new suite of IPX services platform to provide network operators with advantage including cost reduction and enhanced service quality. It allows operators to connect to one secure network to manage business operations efficiently.
Sybase combines messaging and data roaming services with those of Telecom New Zealand International (TNZI) for portfolio of the IPX carrier services include data roaming; and messaging hubs that enable service providers to connect only once to a hub to reach all the other networks connected to that hub for the exchange of multimedia and text messages.
In addition, the Sybase IPX 365 full suite of services include IPX voice combined with call control provided by TNZI’s softswitch and supported by TNZI’s international voice business; and provides access to TNZI’s signalling connect service, which provides transit routing of signalling messages between a mobile operator and its roaming partners and includes an ANSI translation service.
Marty Beard, president of Sybase 365, said: “No other company offers all the services that we do on one IP MPLS platform, creating operational efficiencies and cost reduction for service providers while still delivering the best quality service through one secure platform. Sybase IPX 365 offers network operators a competitive advantage, enabling them to provide their customers with a distinguished platform and full portfolio of advanced IPX services.”
