SingTel launches new platform for network monitoring

Singapore Telecommunications has launched a new Global Delivery Platform, a managed internet protocol virtual private network platform to provide network performance monitoring for corporate data services across multiple partners' networks.

The company claims that, with its Global Delivery Platform, users can have comprehensive network performance assurances and fault restoration. In addition, they can access to real-time network performance statistics via an online portal provided by Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel).

Bill Chang, executive vice president of business for SingTel, said: This is a significant milestone in SingTel’s efforts to build a global internet protocol virtual private network solution with a key focus in Asia. The ability to monitor the performance of the entire network, including our partners’ infrastructure, is a breakthrough.
