SimpliVity has unveiled its new OmniStack 3.0 data virtualisation platform for single and multi-site deployments.
The company claims that the product revolutionises multi-site deployments with a new unified protected ROBO solution and a new optimised platform.
It enhances performance and scalability for consolidated single-site deployments, and extends foundational, built-in data protection by providing file-level restore capabilities.
SimpliVity HyperGuarantee will be provided for data efficiency, built-in data protection, multi-site management and non-disruptive IT refresh.
OmniStack 3.0 offers a 30% increase in performance for mission-critical workloads such as Microsoft Exchange and OLTP, in addition to a cost per VDI desktop with full data protection.
The new deployment manager automatically discovers and results in five times faster deployment of multiple nodes both for single-site and multi-site deployments.
It brings new capabilities for built-in data protection by removing the need for traditional backup and DR solutions.

Administrators will be allowed to set backup policies across several virtual machines in a single session to enhance workflow efficiency.
