Roundbox, a provider of mobile broadcast software solutions, has released version 5.0 of the Roundbox Mobile Broadcast Suite, which helps broadcasters, mobile operators, and device manufacturers, to deliver new applications that drive new revenue, while reducing deployment costs.
Based on open standards, the suite is designed to work with existing network architectures and an array of devices including handheld mobile phones, PCs, netbooks, in-car entertainment devices, receivers, chips, media players and other software platforms. Designed to deliver the low cost of ownership for deploying broadcast services, the suite has the speed and capacity required to ensure service will not be disrupted, said Roundbox.
According to the company, the Roundbox Mobile Broadcast Suite is comprised with the Roundbox Server, Roundbox Client SDK, feature-rich Roundbox ESG (electronic service guide), and Roundbox Managed.
