RM confirms Islington BSF ICT contract

RM, a provider of educational products and services, has confirmed that it has reached contractual close for a £6m contract to provide managed information and communication technology services to Islington Council's Building Schools for Future programme.

By CBR Staff Writer

RM will work as part of the Transform Schools consortium, with Balfour Beatty, to deliver these services. The company also announced that it had been selected as preferred bidder for Islington’s Building Schools for Future (BSF) programme in May 2007.

Terry Sweeney, CEO designate of RM, said: We look forward to working with our Transform Schools partners – and with teachers across Islington – to provide inspiring new environments for the Borough’s learners. RM is establishing a very strong position as an information and communication technology (ICT) provider to the BSF program, with 11 local authorities so far choosing us as their partner.
