Redknee signs miltiple MVNO deals to support operators

360 degree view of subscribers enables service providers to effectively identify cross bundle opportunities

By CBR Staff Writer

Redknee, a provider of business billing and charging software and offerings for communications service providers, said that it has signed multiple mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) deals that reiterate Redknee’s strategy to support growing operators in APAC, EMEA and the Americas.

Redknee said their MVNO billing and customer care offering enables MVNOs to take control of the services and promotions they launch and the user experience they provide.

MVNOs can now launch new data services and target their subscribers due to the visibility of its subscribers’ usage and the ability to stimulate and reward usage in real-time, the company said.

The 360 degree view of subscribers provided by Redknee’s converged platform enables the service provider to effectively identify cross bundle opportunities, understand subscriber behavior and launch promotions and incentives faster to the market.

The subscriber-centric platform also enables subscribers to manage their own mobile experience through many self-care features, such as balance management and feature bolt-ons.

Redknee’s offerings for MVNOs is said to be enabling MVNOs to take ownership of their customer care and billing to develop and launch new service offerings, real-time promotions and real-time customer care, independently of its MVNE and with the speed, agility and sophistication of an independent service provider.

Redknee said its real-time converged platform supports multiple business models, as a reseller, service provider or a complete MVNO.

Redknee CEO Lucas Skoczkowski said these are strategic transactions that they believe will enable them to build significant market share in both Tier 1 and 2 operators over coming years.

"The flexibility and agility of our offering enables service providers and MVNOs to take control of their business and to execute on their growth strategy with ease," Skoczkowski said.
