The company introduced Lenovo RackSwitchs, Lenovo Flex System SI4091, and Lenovo XClarity.

Lenovo has announced three new enterprise solutions including two Lenovo RackSwitchs, the Lenovo Flex System SI4091, and an automated systems management solution dubbed Lenovo XClarity.

The solutions are targeted towards traditional IT data centres and private and public cloud environments.

Lenovo’s RackSwitch G8296 and RackSwitch G8272 are cloud ready networking switches that are optimised to support Lenovo server and storage solutions. Both are capable of supporting OpenFlow and Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) communication protocols.

The switches are also capable of delivering low latency performance for 10Gb and 40Gb Ethernet connectivity.

The server hardware supplier also introduced the Lenovo Flex System SI4091, which is a low-cost system interconnect module for Flex Systems.

It is capable of supporting 10Gb Ethernet or FCoE, that can solve the interoperability and network challenges faced by IT administrators, the company said.

Lenovo XClarity is the other product launched by Lenovo, which is designed to addresses critical customer requirements including speeding up of cloud and traditional infrastructure deployments, centralising and streamlining hardware resource management, and enabling visibility and control of physical resources.

According to Lenovo, XClarity is the right solution for small to large enterprises, government organisations, and service providers.

Lenovo XClarity will be available in two editions including Lenovo XClarity Administrator, which is designed to simplify cloud and traditional server deployments, and Lenovo XClarity Pro, which is targeted towards customers looking to centralise their server management within the virtualisation management environment.

Lenovo Enterprise Systems Marketing vice president Darrel Ward said: "We continue expanding our enterprise solutions portfolio to enable our customers to optimise infrastructure performance and reduce cost of ownership, regardless of their environment.

"Lenovo XClarity dramatically simplifies system management, helping organisations do more with less, while the networking solutions deliver great performance, optimised for Lenovo server and storage solutions, at an extremely attractive price point."
