The company is to provide its unite cloud framework with end-to-end solutions for enterprises.

By Hannah Williams

Juniper Networks has announced the launch of its Unite Cloud data centre framework, providing enterprises with end-to-end solutions that will simplify the creation and management of hybrid, multi-cloud environments.

The framework, which is a part of Juniper Networks Unite, is designed to reduce the total cost of ownership while increasing long-term return on investments.

Juniper Unite, announced in 2015, enables organisations to design and build network infrastructures that meet their specific needs. Unite Cloud includes an enhanced Junos Space Network Director 3.0, which is the latest version of the company’s data centre management tool.

New highlights also include features such as Advanced Automation for Simplified Management, which allows networks to scale securely with analytics that enable an enhanced experience to visualise, analyse and control the network.

data centreAs part of Unite, the new Juniper Networks QFX5110 switch offers 100 Gigabit (GB) capabilities to scale with evolving bandwidth demands, and the new Contrail JumpStart service offerings that help enterprises rapidly deploy technologies at lower risk to embrace the cloud seamlessly.

This comes with a new QFX5110 data centre switch including 100GB capabilities, is designed for scalability and is agile enough to handle high-bandwidth applications, including server virtualisation.

Denise Shiffman, Senior vice president, Juniper Development and Innovation, Juniper Networks said: “The move to hybrid, multi-cloud IT is accelerating with workloads migrating to cloud data centres at lightspeed.
