Google Sites generated revenue of $3.12 billion, an increase of 58%, while Google Network generated $1.64bn, an increase of 37%.
Google also reported earnings for fiscal year 2007. It said revenue for the year rose to $16.59bn from $10.6bn in 2006. Net income was $4.2bn, $13.29 a share, against $3.07 billion, $9.94 a share, the previous year.
Google chief executive Eric Schmidt said the figures reflect strong momentum in our core business, growing receptivity to our new business initiatives, and improved discipline in managing our operating expenses.
