Fastech Integrated Solutions said that it has recently completed the acquisition of two IT and Telephony services vendors focusing on small and mid-sized businesses. Fastech acquired the assets of Aserdiv and Transcend Communications.
The company said that the combined organisation will offer a complete suite of IT and telecom services and expects 2010 revenues to exceed $30m.
Aserdiv, based in suburban Philadelphia, is a provider of Riverbed WAN Optimisation, wireless networking offerings, and data centre management tools. It has focused on market opportunities in the Northeast Corridor and maintains a regional office in suburban Boston.
Minneapolis-based Transcend is the reseller of Shoretel VoIP telephony and unified communications equipment in the US and operates in 35 states. It is also a provider of Avaya small business offerings.
Rick Hirsh, CEO of Fastech, said: With revenues that place us among the top 5% of VARs nationally, an expanded engineering staff, and a wider, more comprehensive set of solutions to offer customers, we feel we are well-positioned for a bounce-back in IT spending in 2010 and beyond.
We’ve put the management team, systems, and processes in place to grow organically in the strategic areas of IP telephony and WAN Optimisation using a managed services model, and also plan on more acquisitions over the next 9-12 months.
