Ericsson receives new contract from Armentel

Expand broadband infrastructure

Ericsson has received a new contract from Armentel, a fixed and mobile operator in Armenia, to expand Armentel’s broadband infrastructure.

Under the terms of contract, Ericsson will also provide an offering to Armenian operator to enable converged broadband services.

Ericsson said that with the network expanded using Ericsson’s EDA IP-MSAN offering, Armentel customers will have access to internet and a range of information, entertainment and educational services.

ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko said, broadband and converged telecom services have recently become an integral part of modern life, and they are glad to say that Beeline, in cooperation with Ericsson, has become a symbol of telecom industry development in Armenia.
