This launch adds the third community within the Eastern Idaho Technology Corridor along Interstate 15 to DigitalBridge Communications’s (DBC) WiMAX network in southeastern Idaho.

In Idaho Falls, the WiMAX service, called BridgeMAXX, will reach more than 25,000 homes and businesses. DBC is also serving Rexburg, Pocatello and Hailey Idaho, and plans to expand to other communities over the next few months. BridgeMAXX service offers residential plans delivering download speeds up to 2Mbps and upload speeds up to 500Kbps.

Joe Kochan, vice president of operations at DBC, said: We can deliver the fast, simple, portable, and affordable broadband services that customers want, and our regional network means customers can really leverage the portable nature of our service, getting online in Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Pocatello, and even Missoula.
