Connexions4London deploys 100,000th Dell EqualLogic storage array

The EqualLogic storage arrays will enable C4L to host huge customer data in more than 40 data centre locations

By CBR Staff Writer

UK based data centre and connectivity application provider Connexions4London (C4L) has deployed 100,000th Dell EqualLogic storage array to support its colocation and cloud services business.

The company has also integrated the Dell EqualLogic PS6100 storage arrays to its existing storage infrastructure.

Connexions4London will utilise the EqualLogic storage arrays to host huge customer data in more than 40 data centre locations.

Dell said the EqualLogic product line is designed to deliver enterprise class features for IT generalists that are deploying virtualised data centres.

The EqualLogic storage arrays include a peer scaling architecture and an all-inclusive software licensing model provides customers with all available new and upgraded array software at no additional cost.

Recently Dell has integrated Fluid File System into the EqualLogic FS Series to enable customers unify block and file with a high-performance clustered file system on top of traditional EqualLogic block-based arrays.

In addition, Dell has also released new EqualLogic Blade arrays and Active System 800 that enables customers to simplify their data centres by combining storage, servers and networking into a single blade chassis.
