Autonomy Corp has launched a system that lets companies doing business online to automatically record and archive their dynamic website content.
The vendor has melded its Autonomy Digital Safe hosted data archive with the Interwoven TeamSite product it acquired earlier in the year in a design that addresses the increasing and complex regulatory requirements for businesses presenting dynamic content on the web.
As an example of its potential in the field, Autonomy said it would allow a regulated business like an insurance company produce an exact record of the premiums it offered online to a particular segment of customers during a marketing campaign.
“The solution combines to form the industry’s only offering for including web content in a comprehensive compliance policy,” it said.
Businesses increasingly engage with their customers through online channels, constantly updating and changing offers in a dynamic manner.
At the same time, courts and governmental regulatory bodies are demanding an exact record of data for use in legal matters and compliance audits.

TeamSite is used to capture data snapshots of content which is indexed by Digital Safe for future eDiscovery purposes and to meet COBS 11.8 (Conduct of Business), SEC/FINRA regulations, and the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act requirements.
