AT&T partners with Zynga

Customized content will be available to AT&T customers within online and mobile social games

By CBR Staff Writer

US wireless carrier AT&T has collaborated with social games developer Zynga to optimise the mobile gaming experience for AT&T customers.

Zynga develops browser-based games that work both stand-alone and as application widgets on social networking websites such as MySpace and Facebook.

Customers can download games such as Words with Friends and Zynga Poker, plus customized content, on AT&T’s shelf in Android Market later this year.

As part of the relationship, AT&T and Zynga will work to explore ways to improve device battery life during game play and optimize network efficiency for playing.
