Some US cable and telephone companies have asked to buy stakes in Sony Corp’s Columbia Pictures, but Sony has made no decision about any sale, the company says: the New Yorker magazine said in its latest issue that the Columbia film studio lost $124m on its Arnold Schwarzenegger movie The Last Action Hero.
