Active Memory Technology Ltd, the company spun out of ICL Ltd to develop and market the DAP Distributed Array Processor, has made a breakthrough into the US military establishement with a multi year agreement with E-Systems Inc of Greenville, Texas. E Systems chose the massively parallel 1,024-node DAP 510 to meet its requirements for parallel processing in the military field after an extensive survey of possible equipment. Active Memory, headquartered in Reading, Berkshire has added Boston and Washington offices to its US Irvine base.
