Dallas Semiconductor Corp has proposed to acquire RF Monolithics Inc, in a pooling of interests, tax-free merger. Dallas Semiconductor is paying one Dallas share for every two RF Monolithics outstanding, about two million shares all told, putting an indicated value on the deal of about $30.25m. No further details were available. RF Monolithics had net income of $787,000, on net sales of $6,582,000 in its latest quarter ended May 31.
