DAISY SYSTEMS ON THE BRINK

By CBR Staff Writer

Faced with a loss of $18.3m for its fiscal first quarter, on sales flat at $32m, Daisy Systems Corp says that the loss wipes out its shareholders’ funds and leaves the Mountain View, California firm in technical default on $180m of loans. It blames fierce competition for its poor performance and says that it will be unable to continue operating if the loans are called in.
