Daini Denden International Corp has allowed US West Inc and Bell Atlantic Corp to use its new personal mobile phone technology in a six-month field experiment starting in Washington in May; similar to Telepoint but able to receive calls too, the Personal Handy Phone has a wider range than a cordless phone and it is cheaper than cellular.
