Daimler-Benz AG is to put all of its microelectronics interests into a new company to be equally owned by its AEG AG and Deutsche Aerospace AG units: the new company will come into existence on July 1 and will be capitalised at $356m; it will have aggregate sales of about $1,500m but is likely to make losses of as much as $60m a year in the first two or three years with profitability by 1995 the target; it may or may not be called Mikrolektronik GmbH – one report says it will, another says that no name has yet been chosen for the company.
