By CBR Staff Writer

Daimler-Benz Interservices AG’s recently-formed East Berlin hardware and software systems supplier arm, in which Hewlett-Packard has a 25% stake (CI No 1,456), has finally been given a name and is ready to start trading: Computerwoche reports that the new company, snappily dubbed Systemhaus fr Informationsverarbeitung, will employ 180 people and start with funds of around $500,000; no contract awards have been announced, and the firm is setting itself the modest target of $2.5m for its first year sales.
