Daimler-Benz AG, now a diversified electrical and electronic group as well as an automaker, is reported to be in talks with Sogeti SA, the parent company of Cap Gemini Sogeti SA – it holds 58% of the shares – about taking a 34% stake in it and forming a joint venture with the Daimler-Benz Inter Services GmbH computer services subsidiary firm.
