Daimler-Benz AG plans to merge the microelectronic interests of its AEG AG electronic and DASA aerospace subsidiaries according to Wirtschaftswoche magazine: the new combined company will become a major new focus of growth for Daimler; annual sales of microelectronic products are currently some $640m.
