Truck-maker DAF NV is negotiating a facilities management contract with its Eindhoven neighbour under which Philips Communications & Processing Services BV would take over the data processing and communications networking of DAF in the Netherlands and in Leyland and Birmingham UK: Philips would take on 36 people in Holland and 80 people in the UK.
