Daewoo Telecom has won its first big US contract, after it was passed by the US National Software Test Lab (NSTL) as a PC supplier to the US government (CI No 3,454). The Korea Times reports that the Korean conglomerate will ship 40,000 ‘Solo’ CN 530-550 notebooks to the US air force and navy between now and the end of the year.
