Daewoo Electronics Co Ltd will invest $30m over five years at a new Daewoo Electronics Research Center in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. It will focus on digital and high-definition television, non-memory chips, multimedia and telecommunications products. It opened with 60 people and it will expand to 100 next year.
