Daewoo Telecom has qualified as a PC supplier to the US government, reports the Korea Times. The telco arm of one South Korea’s ‘big five’ industry conglomerates, was tested by the US National Software Test Lab (NSTL) on a variety of operating systems – such as Windows/NT and OS/2 – and hardware setups. The company hopes that the qualification will help export sales of its PCs in North America.
