Zymos Corp, Sunnyvale, California, is to sell its wafer fabrication equipment to Daewoo Telecommunications Co Ltd of Seoul, South Korea for cash and cash and a long-term note. Zymos, maker of the Poach MS-DOS micro building blocks, will shed 100 staff in the switch. AT&T and others will now make its chips.
