Unified networking applications provider D-Link has extended its support for enterprise video software development Network Optix HD Witness, new video management platform.

The integration of HD Witness into D-Link IP cameras will offer businesses a new approach to managing high definition surveillance video at any scale.

The new HD Witness platform architecture complements D-Link IP surveillance applications, giving businesses expanded scalability, adaptive bandwidth optimisation, efficient distributed processing, automated device discovery and configuration and streamlined implementation.

D-Link IP applications are compatible with the HD Witness, including the DCS-2210/DCS-2230, DCS-3112, DCS-3710, DCS-3716, DCS-6112/DCS-6113, DCS-6511, and DCS-7110.

Network Optix CEO and co-founder Nathan Wheeler said HD Witness addresses the limitations for managing small, medium and large-scale deployments of HD surveillance technology.

"Integration with D-Link’s solutions delivers the lowest TCO, coupled with a powerful and dynamic user interface, and the most efficient deployment and maintenance of any system available on the market today," said Wheeler.
