CYRIX RELEASE NEW CHIPS

Cyrix Corp’s new clock-doubled 50MHz/25MHz chip for portable computers, the Cx486SLC2-50, costs $90 a time in volume: the first company to sign up for it is Epson America Inc, an existing Cyrix customer, using the CPU in its new ActionNote monochrome and colour notebooks.
