CYRIX FOLLOWS INTEL AND AMD IN PRICE CUTS

Cyrix Corp, following the lead of Intel Corp and Advanced Micro Devices Inc earlier in the week (CI No 3,213), has cut prices on its MMX-enabled 6x86MX processor line. PR166, PR200 and PR233 versions of the 6x86MX are now priced at $105, $188 and $290, respectively.
