CYRIX ADJUST CLAIM AGAINST TEXAS INSTRUMENTS

Cyrix Corp has now amended its complaint against Texas Instruments Inc, putting the damages it claims at $750m in damages, and is asking the court to confirm it was right to terminate its 1991 manufacturing and supply agreement with Texas, and to order Texas to stop manufacturing Cyrix-designed chips and return its intellectual property; Cyrix says Texas failed to meet its production commitments to Cyrix, and never intended to meet them.
