Having got shot of its Ross microprocessor design and fabrication subsidiary to Fujitsu Ltd, Cypress Semiconductor Corp is enhancing the businesses it has left with the acquisition of IC Designs Inc, which makes of frequency synthesis technology and programmable clock oscillators.
