An orderly run-down of its activities leading to liquidation is under way at minisupercomputer manufacturer Cydrome Inc, Milpitas, California. The company designed a Directed Dataflow symmetrical multiprocessor, but never recovered from the body blow dealt it when Prime Computer Inc abandoned marketing of the Cydra 5 machine last July, writing off its Cydrome stake (CI No 980).
