Verizon Business, a unit of Verizon Communications, has announced that its Remote IP Application Management service is now available in India. The new service is expected to enable India-headquartered customers and local subsidiaries of multinational companies to improve the performance of their online applications.
The company claimed that the new application management service enables businesses to outsource the management and monitoring of their business applications and infrastructure to Verizon Business.
According to the company, its business team combines consultancy and IP application-management services in a remote operations centre environment to identify and resolve any issues in the customers’ distributed systems.
John Samuel, area vice president of Verizon Business India, said: With dispersed operational environments now part of daily business life, services such as ours enable organisations to ensure that their business-critical applications are operating as effectively as possible without the need for significant investment in internal resources. Instead, they can leverage our proven expertise in helping our customers to do business better, and rest assured that their IP applications are in safe hands.
Verizon Remote IP Application Management is part of the company’s operations management service portfolio, which includes infrastructure design, operations readiness assessment, systems instrumentation and monitoring, among others. The service is claimed to be suited for customers with transaction-oriented online presence, such as online retailers or financial service providers.
