The technology offers threat detection by running suspected malware in a sandbox and provide information about the impact it would have on an endpoint.
The technology will also help in automatic blocking of future attacks by convicted malware samples.
Scheduled to be launched by the second half of 2013, the technology creates signature information of the malware so that it can be automatically corrected by McAfee’s ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO).
McAfee network security senior vice president and general manager, Pat Calhoun, saidthe company is continuing to invest in new malware protection products and product enhancements.
"Point products can’t provide adequate protection against these advanced attacks, which is why McAfee is delivering an integrated, multi layered, managed solution that provides comprehensive malware protection across endpoints and networks," Calhoun said.
The company is also launching over 30 anti malware product enhancements to support malware protection that include its Network Security Platform, McAfee Web Protection, Email Protection, Enterprise Security Manager, Real Time for ePO and Deep Defender.
