CSC has collaborated with General Dynamics Information Technology, Harris, and Cisco to pursue a five-year IT enterprise services contract from the US Navy.

The IT enterprise services contract covers multiple service areas under the next-gen Enterprise Network (NGEN) initiative, which aims to achieve the Navy’s vision of a fully integrated naval networking environment.

The CSC-led team will compete to provide end user computing services, application integration and hosting, portal and data storage, and other IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

CSC North American public sector president James Sheaffer said the CSC-led team brings years of experience supporting military and intelligence customers, and leverages both government and commercial best practices to deliver IT operations.

The company said that the NGEN is the follow-on to the Navy Marine Corps Intranet initiative.
